Why I Coach

I coach because my poker career is slow. I spend my time these days writing about poker, not playing. I still have my passion for the game, and with seven years of professional playing experience, I can offer players insight into the way a functioning poker brain looks like, instead of the drooling retard things spewed by even reputable members of every major forum.

I don't coach for the money. If you just read the site archives, you'll learn a lot about poker.

1 - My Credentials

winrate.png

I have been playing poker for seven years. I started playing heads-up two years ago, and have shown dramatic success. I currently four-table the middle stakes games. I've put in over 10,000 heads-up games in my career, and, including non-heads-up games, I have seen well over a million hands of poker in my lifetime. I routinely discuss strategy with the most successful players in the game. An hour of coaching could improve your winrate over your next thousand games, isn't it worth the investment?

2 - Coaching Information

My goals are to analyze your play and determine where you need improvement. This could range from looking for leaks to discussion of underlying theory concepts behind plays. Before beginning our sessions, we can work out a schedule we're both comfortable with; including, live sweats, hand history reviews, theory discussions, or psychology. Typically, during sweat sessions, we will use TeamViewer so I can see your cards as you play.

One-on-One Coaching: $20 per hour  *SALE*
My preferred method of coaching, so it's also the cheapest option. You can book six hours for $100 and save $20. Six hours is plenty of time to talk, sweat, review your database, and come up with some ideas to improve your ROI immediately. Topics include a discussion of your biggest leaks, things you could do to improve your winrate, or anything in particular you'd like to go over.

Hand History Review & Analysis: $30 (per 100 hands)
A one-game-at-a-time review of how you've played against your opponent. This has some advantages to one-on-one coaching. First, you know you're getting quality advice, because I have time to discuss hands with other professional poker players and get valuable input. Second, you know you'll get exactly what you pay for, because this is not billed by the hour, but by the hand. This is probably the best starting option if you're interested in coaching, because it will introduce us to each other and I'll get to see how you play in a real game.

Hold'em Manager Analysis / Leak Finder - $100 (specific lesson package)
An analysis of all the hands in your database. We'll look at how your winrate in certain spots compares to my winrate and the winrate of other professional players. We'll look at how you play in common spots, say, out of position when you check-raise, or with big draws. We'll pull out individual hands where you may be leaking, and discuss them. The analysis will probably take about an hour to complete, but will go over every aspect of your play. Requires a pretty sizable database.

General Hold'em Manager Help - $30 (per hour)
Everything you need to know about using Hold'em Manager to track your play, find leaks, share a database between two or more computers, install and configure a HUD, advanced hand filtering, and more.

Custom Software Development - $30 (per hour)
Custom AHK software. I have a degree in Computer Science. I get a lot of requests for this, so it's posted here. If you want to request a quote, fill out the form below.
